We are seeking a highly motivated and dependable Sales Associate for our store in Plantation. The ideal candidate would be someone who can engage customers and cultivate relationships.
RESPONSIBILITIES
· Greet and engage customers assisting with their needs. Effectively communicate product features, benefits, and company services to our customers.
· Guide customers, sharing knowledge and experience to increase customer loyalty.
· Open and close the store front, perform end of day procedure.
· Assist in maintenance of showroom merchandising, inventory, catalogs, website, and other related sales materials.
· Provide online and phone customer service
· Exercise professional independence in all responsibilities.
REQUIREMENTS
MUST:
- Have Experience in baking and cake decorating.
- Fluent English speaker (Spanish or Portuguese a plus)
- Retail experience desired, but not a must.
- Sales associate should be friendly, assertive, enthusiastic, self motivated and have a positive outlook.
- Excellent reasoning and verbal communication skills
- Independent and able to multi-task

Asistente de repostería – Deerfield Beach
Ubicados en Plantation y en Deerfield Beach, Mia Cake House es una de las tiendas líderes en cake supplies en el sur de la Florida. Nos destacamos por la gran variedad de productos a buen precio y servicio al cliente.
Proveemos productos de repostería a diseñadores de pasteles profesionales y amateurs de la zona y a nivel nacional a través de nuestra tienda online.
Entre las actividades y servicios que ofrecemos, destacamos las clases de horneado y decoración para adultos y niños. También ofrecemos campamentos para niños en los días festivos, en los que ellos mismos hornean y decoran sus propios dulces que luego comparten con sus respectivas familias.
Buscamos personas responsables y trabajadoras para el puesto de asistente de cocina. Entre las actividades estarán el horneado de los cupcakes y pasteles para las fiestas, clases y campamentos que se realizan en nuestras instalaciones, así como la preparación de cremas y fondant de diferentes colores para cada actividad y re-abastecimiento de productos en la tienda. También se encargará de recibir a los proveedores y controlar el stock de ingredientes de uso diario.
Para este puesto se requiere una persona independiente y organizada que sepa trabajar con metas y cumplir con los objetivos marcados.
RESPONSABILIDADES:
- Seguir instrucciones y preparar diferentes tipos de pasteles.
- Lavar utensilios de cocina y herramientas de trabajo.
- Preparar herramientas e insumos para clases y otras actividades.
- Limpieza general y mantenimiento de la cocina y taller de trabajo
- Recepción y distribución de insumos para la tienda
REQUISITOS:
- Permiso de trabajo en EE.UU (Ciudadanía, Green Card o Permiso de trabajo)
- Tiene que poder comunicarse de forma fluida en Español o Inglés (bilingüe es un plus)
- Experiencia en área de repostería (puede ser repostería casera. Este no es un puesto para pastry chefs o cocineros).
- Tiene que ser una persona organizada y metódica, que pueda seguir una receta.
- Poder levantar y mover 35 lbs, así como poder estar parado/a por largo tiempo.
- Horario de trabajo de Lunes a Viernes, 10:00am-3:00pm.
