COVID-19 UPDATES

SPRING CAMP CANCELED / RESCHEDULED

Dear parents,

We have been preparing for the camp activities for a while, purchasing supplies, training teachers and preparing our facilities.

At this moment, due to the situation caused by the COVID19 outbreak, following Executive Order Number 20-70 issued by the governor of Florida we have to cancel all food-related activities, classes and camps in the stores.

For years we have had the pleasure of teaching and taking care of your children and hope we will resume our activities soon.

At this moment our greatest concern is the health and well being of our employees and customers.

All the payments made toward the spring break camp, summer camp and parties will be honored as credit toward future activities.

We hope to be able to serve you as soon as permitted,
Stay safe,

Guy & Sheila.

To Our Valued Customers:

Mia Cake House  is committed to the health of our customers, students and staff and promoting the safety is our top priority.

We’ve increased daily cleaning procedures at our facilities and have educated all employees on best practices recommended by the CDC.

Our scheduled activities such as camps and classes are still on.

Measures we are taking to promote safety in our day camps:

  • Reducing number of campers / students for each session.
  • Cleaning procedures and norms have been refreshed. All surfaces, faucets, door knobs, tools and equipment are cleaned with disinfecting wipes after each activity.
  • Pick up time will be between 3pm and 3:15 and parents will check in when they arrive at the store (parents will not enter for pick up). Children will be released to the parent (thus avoiding a large crown in the store).

We respectively ask that all customers who are ill or think they might be ill to remain at home to recover and come back when they are well

We are working closely with our suppliers to maintain the flow of products. Thus far, our key suppliers have not notified us of any large scale fulfillment issues, but that is subject to change at any moment.

As you might expect, we have counseled our employees that they should stay home if they are

experiencing any symptoms associated with COVID-19.

We are committed to serving you throughout this challenging time period. Please do not hesitate to reach out should you have any questions.

Thanks for your support,

Sheila, Guy & Mia Cake House Staff
